Tag lines are made to help riggers control rotation and swinging when the weight is suspended during a lift. Our tag lines lessen the possibility of tangling.

This assists in ensuring a safe lift, guiding the load into the proper landing position and lowering the chance of accidents by making sure the load stays clear of obstacles like powerlines and other hazards.
Safety considerations with tag lines include:
- NEVER encircle your arm or leg with a tag
- NEVER fall into a tagline’s
- NEVER put yourself under a

- ALWAYS carry out a risk analysis and a rigging study before attempting to lift a big
- DO NOT let anyone near the lift
Be aware that while tag lines are useful for load control, there is current no law requiring their use each time a load is lifted. OSHA regulations only mandate the use of tag lines in situations where the lack of them would result in a risky working environment. For instance, tag lines must be employed to regulate a load if wind or unfavorable circumstances could cause it to swing, rotate or become unbalanced. On the other hand, tag lines are optional if the weather and all other factors allow you to regulate a load without them.
